Theists claim the word "God" when capitalized, (or "Jehovah", "Yahweh", or "Allah"), refers to something that exists.
Atheists claim the word "God" when capitalized, (or "Jehovah", "Yahweh", or "Allah"), refers to something that does not exist.
Agnostics claim the word "God" when capitalized, or "Jehovah", "Yahweh", or "Allah", refers to something that may or may not exist.
Noncognitivists do not claim the word "God" when capitalized, (or "Jehovah", "Yahweh", or "Allah"), refers to anything at all, existent or nonexistent.
Atheists often compare "God" to meaningful words such as "unicorn", "mermaid", or "leprechaun" -- words for fictional though imaginable things that do not exist. Noncognitivists do not make this comparison.
We noncognitivists can only see that "God", "Jehovah", "Yahweh", or "Allah" is tantamount to flicking one's lips and going "bwibbuh, bwibbuh".
So you see, we noncognitivists are without the belief that "God" when capitalized (or "Jehovah", "Yahweh", or "Allah") is a cognitively meaningful word. Atheists irrationally hang onto the belief that "God" is a cognitively meaningful word like "unicorn". We noncognitivists do not share this belief which atheists share with theists.
